Yin & Yoga Nidra Workshop

In this relaxing and rejuvenating experience, Nicky will begin with breath work to balance the body’s nervous system, helping you feel calm, centered and present. Next, you will enjoy a soothing Yin yoga practice with gentle stretching to remove stress and tensions from the mind and body.
Finally, we will transition to Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation while in supported Savasana (comfortably lying on the ground). You will experience the deeper levels of relaxation, and consciousness where often one becomes unaware of the stress, tension, and conflicts experienced in everyday life. In this space, you can attain a profound sense of contentment and equanimity.
This rebalancing meditation helps to decrease anxiety and depression, regulate the endocrine and nervous systems, create cellular rejuvenation, reduce high blood pressure, improve mental focus and memory, as well as strengthen the immune system. These are just a few of the benefits to creating an internal environment that promotes restoration and healing throughout! Moreover, through the quieting of the mind, one can access higher states of consciousness, increase abilities to achieve desired outcomes, and revive spiritual awareness.

Recommended are 2 blocks, blanket or towel and a bolster if you have one. A small neck pillow is also a good idea. We suggest to not arrive hungry or too full and come well hydrated with an empty bladder. Our restroom is available prior to start.
